Don't get depression on your head

Depression, the common and serious medical condition that affects your mental health and increases your lacking of interest in things that you enjoyed doing in your past.

It is no true that a depressed person always looks sad or downcasted. The person may look cheerful or show that he is carefree when he/she is around people, but when he/she is alone they think that they are worthless and guilty.

Depression is not only caused when you are poor or you have a financial situation or you have problems in your love life or you failed in your exams or you are jobless or you are ugly. Depression can happen when you are alone when you have no one to talk with.

How do you know when you are depressed? A person is depressed when they have a loss of interest or pleasure in any activities once enjoyed. A depressed person either sleeps too much or very less. They have difficulty concentrating or making decisions.

Who is more like to be depressed? Well, studies suggest that one in every fifteen adults (6.7%) is affected by depression. And one in six people (16.6%) will experience depression at any point in their life.

Depression can strike at any time, but on average, it first appears during the late teens to mid-20s. Women are more likely than men to experience depression. Some studies show that one-third of women will experience a major depressive episode in their lifetime.

How can depression be treated? Depression is not fun, it's not a game, and it's not a quirk to add to your personality because you think it's cool. Depression is serious and ugly and affects so many people.
Depression doesn't just disappear, you don't suddenly wake up and decide not to feel hopeless.

Some person thinks that crying or opening your heart out to someone you are close to will make you look weak, but believe me this is where you are hitting your wickets.

It is ok to tell your problems to anyone, it is ok to look weak because you're not bulletproof, you're human. You are capable of being hurt, CRY your heart out, and ruin your mascara. Stop pretending that you are strong.
And for those who know that their friend or relatives or a person who you know that they are depressed, you can be responsible for him/her coming back to normal. All you need to do is TALK, talk to them about the good things, talk to them about plans, and many more...

In simple words, don't get depression to enter your head. Smile, Smile the real smile, Be okay. Be fixable. Be happy. Begin Again...
