Travel Series Chapter two - The Crown of Shevaroys
Yet another downrated hill station, which you can call 'the epitome of peace'. Located on the hills of shevaroys', this outbursting place is called Yercaud also deservingly known as 'The Crown of Shevaroys'...
This historical town holds many museums, churches, botanical gardens, and many more ADd places. The obvious treat for history lovers which upholds not only your eyes but your knowledge about the same.
The viewpoints which give a presentation of amazing landscapes and you feel like standing on the clouds and seeing the world.
The pagoda point is tasted best to your eyes with some pakodas,
the Lady's seat point where even men can enjoy the panoramic view down the hill,
the Kiliyur waterfalls will break your record for not bathing in open,
rent a boat at the big lake, ask the boatman to stop in the middle of the lake, lift your head up, watch the sky then think of me 'why I don't have any words'.
And my personal favorite, the Montfort school, where you can see the elephant mountain. At this place, don't forget to keep an alarm for thirty minutes or an hour because here you will lose the track of time which runs faster than a fire in the forest.
Go to these places in the morning till late noon, have a heavy lunch, off to your cottage, crash the bed, get yourself awake late evening, go out for tea and eve snacks, do some shopping, pack your dinner to the cottage, fill your tummy and someone in your group will suggest a ghost story and sell the night getting chills and laughs... This is what yercaud is all about, a pause to your busy life...
So get your butts up and call your friends for planning and create a WhatsApp group called "Yercaud planning", book your tickets and conquer this crown ...
